What to investigate before you invest

These are research questions, not recommendations. InvestorTrustHub will organize evidence that helps you work through them.

  1. Question 1

    Who am I trusting?

Identify the legal person or firm, their identifiers, and who employs or supervises them. Names alone are not identities.

  2. Question 2

Is this person or firm properly registered?

Look for current registrations with the relevant regulator. A website claim is not a registration. Not finding a record in one system does not prove there is none.

  3. Question 3

What does the regulatory record say?

Read disclosure and filing text as the source reports it. Absence of a disclosure in our extract is not a clean history.

  4. Question 4

    What am I paying?

Fee language is not the same as dollars paid. Future Fee Decoder work will keep assumptions visible.

  5. Question 5

    What do I actually own?

Product names can hide overlap, share class, and underlying holdings. Future Portfolio X-Ray work will stay descriptive.

  6. Question 6

What assumptions drive my retirement plan?

Retirement math is assumption-sensitive. We will show scenarios, not a prescribed retirement date.

  7. Question 7

What should I investigate before making a financial decision?

Before acting on an offer, list what can be verified from official sources and what cannot.
